Choc Fudge Brownies
This recipe is one of them that has been remade the most! They have been super popular, and I know why because they are just PERFECT!
As you can see in the picture, they are perfectly fudgey and gooey in the middle. That is key to the perfect brownie!
They are seriously delicious, you cannot stop at one! I make these all the time, they are my go-to dessert to bring when you’re told to bring nothing and everyone will literally go back for seconds (maybe thirds).
Prep Time: 15min
Cooking Time: 60min
Serves: 12
Ingredients:
1 block dark baking chocolate
1 cup flour
3 eggs, whisked
3/4 cup cocoa (I use Nestle Plaistowe)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 & 1/4 cup caster sugar
175g unsalted butter, melted
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
Preheat oven to 150c fan forced
Melt the butter & set aside to cool
Combine the flour, cocoa, both sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs in a bowl. Stir until combined
Chop your chocolate up - I like to do a few chunky bits and more fine bits
Mix majority of the chocolate through, reserving some to put on top
Pour mixture into a lined square baking tray and top with the remaining chocolate
Bake for 55-60 mins
Let it cool for about 5 mins and then eat it straight away, because it is the BEST brownie ever!
