Garlic prawns & rice
Creamy Garlic Prawns served with rice is something truly special!
This recipe is something my Mother would make us every now and then, and when she did we would be fighting over who got the most prawns!
The creamy garlic sauce and and juicy prawns
It is seriously delicious, and that creamy garlic sauce with the rice - heaven!

1/2 cup White wine (optional)
3 Spring onions
150ml pouring Cream
Salt and pepper
Chives to serve
Cooked rice to serve

Peel the prawns and set aside
Heat a pan over a medium heat and add the butter
Once melted, add the crushed garlic cloves and cook for 1 min

Add in the white wine and turn the heat up to high and simmer until reduced
Add the prawns and cook for 30 seconds to 1 min each side. Remove from pan

If you want it thicker, add in 1 TSP cornflour mixed with water and stir quickly until thickened.
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add the prawns back in and cook for a min until they’re warmed through
Serve with rice, topped with chives and enjoy!
